Cellebrite's UME-36Pro, the newest member in the Universal Memory Exchanger family, is a professional, stand-alone phone memory transfer and backup solution that transfers all forms of content, including pictures, videos, ringtones, SMS, as well as phonebook contacts data between a wide range of mobile phones, smart phones and PDAs. The UME-36Pro was designed with the needs of the mobile phone industry in mind. Rugged and easy to use the UME-36Pro promises mobile communication service providers years of service thanks to Cellebrite's constant firmware updates that keep the UME-36Pro current with the latest cellular phone models. The UME-36Pro still operates with the ease, speed and reliability that customers have come to expect from Cellebrite.



How it works

The Cellebrite UME is used as a channel or intermediary means for transferring data from a Source Phone to a Target Phone, without storing any records of data on the UME unit itself. The UME prompts the user to select and define a set of parameters for the transfer process consisting identifying the Source Phone and Target Phone makes and models, the Memory from which the contents will be copied to and from (phone memory, SIM card), and the available Link option such as cable or IrDA. Once the parameters are defined, the UME displays the number of cables which must be connected to the mobile phones or IR connection, Then, at the press of a button, the data flows from the Source Phone, through the UME, to the Target Phone. When necessary, the UME automatically manipulates data formats and fields in order to be compatible with Target Phone.
